Gas Ring Alligator Park, 2022.

An exhibition by Maddie Banwell and Grace Black at LIMBO.

The show used the proposal for a reserve for alligators (a feature adorning a new development of flats) to be built on the site of a former Gas Works off the Old Kent Road as a way of connecting a system of objects across the space at LIMBO. Through this, the artists explored the ways in which architectures, infrastructures and ecologies are built, measured and maintained.
